‘churs droive’

– so my 18 yr old client this morning thanked the Judge for approving the consent order we had drawn up…(well, without the ‘droive’ bit – but a palpable brizzle ‘cheers’ nonetheless…and later, this afternoon’s pensioner client thanked the Judge as he left the room. Even more of a surpirse since she had just given him 28 days to leave the home he had lived in for 35 years, with nothing but an overdraft and the state pension to his name. Poor old Judges – they don’t often get much thanks – and sometimes it comes in unexpected ways and places.

Posts are getting ever more infrequent around here. Doubtless in part because of my continuing inability to say 'no'....
