The Transparency Project is helping to organise an innovative multidisciplinary day conference about the child protection system on 1 June in London. It will be different from other multi-disciplinary conferences because it will facilitate discussion between not just different professional disciplines but between professionals and parents, care leavers and their supporters. That’s a conversation that doesn’t often happen and we think it should, even if it’s a difficult one.
We are really pleased that Sir Mark Hedley, Dr Lauren Devine and Brigid Featherstone have all agreed to speak, and we have a great mix of people who will be attending.
The conference has been really popular, but as ever with events of this sort some spaces have come up that we would like to fill, as the conference is self funding.
Information about the conference can be found on the Transparency Project website here.
If you would like to book a place please let us know as soon as possible by emailing info@transparencyproject.org.uk and we can confirm if places are still remaining.
