    It really saddens me that child care professionals are often the ones that end up taking such a battering in the family courts when they are the ones who are on the child’s side trying to do the best they can against a backdrop of public sector cut-backs in which they have to work longer and longer hours for less pay and even no pay! This fact is never publicised and yet the criticisms rarely fall upon the courts themselves who do not always make the right decisions in the most timely manner for children, otherwise cases wouldn’t end up in the appeal courts in the first place.
